“Abhishek shares a special connection with nature which is evident in his deep understanding. While he has shown his works all over the world, this solo-show is happening after a long gap of ten years. His new artworks & stories are an evolution of his unique sensibilities, it will surely be a landmark for his practice,” said Anubhav Nath.
“The hymns of Medhini, are drawn meditations about an ancient Earth, where many stars are submerged in its eternal waters waiting to be invoked, a metaphor for our amniotic memories, rekindling our bond with the earth. It’s very much inspired by my time in the mountains and with the elephants. It’s an immersive journey, both playful & profound, into its spiritual atmosphere,” said Abhishek Singh
His work has a special resonance with thinkers and he has worked closely with the likes of Deepak Chopra and Shekhar Kapur, who have been a cherished part of the artist’s journey.
