Process to Path: An artist’s journey of exploration rooted in stories and spirituality

Ojas Art presented Process to Path, a solo exhibition by storyteller and artist Abhishek Singh, who, through his fantastical lens, infused his artworks with a deep reverence for the natural world and its species.

Abhishek showcased more than 20 artworks in acrylic, ink and gouache across mediums such as paper and canvas at Process to Path. The highlight was one of his magnum opus live paintings, Elephants Can Fly, created at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2024. This artwork also marked the beginning of a new mythological narrative centred around elephants.

Interestingly, the piece also served as inspiration for Abhishek’s book, Hymns of Medhini, published the following year. The exhibition marked the first time the completed painting was displayed.

“Art in its core is sacred, because it intuitively acknowledges life around and within us as one,” said the artist and author of the books Namaha, Purnam and Sarvam.
