Rerouted Realities was a solo exhibition of Santosh Kumar Das and marked an important moment in the development of his artistic practice. One of his most renowned bodies of work is the Gujarat series, created in 2002, which brought him international recognition and has been exhibited at museums and institutions across the world. His other prolific series include Tantra, Krishna, Buddha, Monsoon and Lovers, several of which were featured in the exhibition and are represented in this book. Das continues to paint from Ranti, a small town in Bihar.
