Hymns of Medhini by Abhishek Singh is a mytho-poetic visual journey that weaves ancient wisdom, ecology, philosophy and speculative folklore. Set in “Medhini”—an ancient Earth submerged in an eternal cosmic ocean—the book follows seekers, mystical beings and elephant guardians on a quest toward the rebirth of creation.

Created, written and illustrated by Abhishek Singh, the work draws on Indian philosophical traditions and the natural world to explore themes of life, death, transformation and humanity’s relationship with nature. Richly illustrated and deeply symbolic, it features characters such as Kesri the tiger yogi, Nirmalam the World Turtle and Amsu, the Little Ray of Light. Blending art and storytelling, Hymns of Medhini is a contemporary mythology that invites readers into a contemplative exploration of existence, ecology and inner awakening.
