For over a decade, Ojas Art has been at the forefront of promoting and engaging with Indian indigenous arts. In 2024, we took an experimental step with Musawwari: Miniatures Today, an exhibition that explored and showcased the works of artists from around the world who practise in the Indo-Persian miniature painting tradition.
In 2025, we presented the second chapter, Masnavi: Lores Across Lands. The exhibition brought together seventeen artists from nearly ten countries, all united by their engagement with this beautiful and intricate art form.
Masnavi gently gathered these visual narratives as a constellation of profound connections, softly reminding us of the enduring, binding power of stories to beautifully unite generations, cultures, and communities.
The artworks exemplified the evolution and relevance of a centuries-old tradition, transcending the boundaries of time and geography. Through these creations, we witnessed how tradition provides fertile ground for innovation and creative expression. Rooted in centuries of practice yet reimagined through contemporary sensibilities, these works affirmed the art form’s enduring vitality. The exhibition invited a deeper inquiry into its dynamic transformations, revealing how the echoes of the past continue to shape, challenge, and invigorate artistic expression today.
We extended our sincere gratitude to all the participating artists, whose talent and conviction formed the cornerstone of this exhibition. Our deepest appreciation went to the curator, Khushboo Jain, and the team at Ojas Art, whose dedication and passion brought this vision to fruition.
