Ascending Roots brings together three distinct yet interconnected projects: Private Poem by Manjunath Kamath, Healing Wounds by Veer Munshi and Vishvaroopa, a collaborative body of work created by Manjunath Kamath, Bhajju Shyam and Santosh Kumar Das. Exploring themes of memory, mythology, healing, displacement, Indigenous knowledge systems and cosmic interconnectedness, the publication creates a dialogue between diverse artistic practices.

Moving from personal and socio-political reflections to broader explorations of spirituality and existence, the book examines how traditional and contemporary visual languages intersect. Through layered imagery, archival material and philosophical inquiry, Ascending Roots reflects on transformation, collaboration and the evolving expressions of collective artistic imagination.
