Born in Guruvayoor, Kerala, 1969. He did his BFA in painting from Govt. College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, 1993 and MFA in painting from College of Art, New Delhi, 1996.
His solo exhibitions comprised of ‘Kari’ Site-specific installation at Guruvayoor, 2012, “United Art Fair”Curated by Johny. M. L, Pragathi Maidan, New Delhi, “Mohor”-Pune Biennale Curated by Subhod Kerkar.
He hosted a Group show “Artville Contemporary”, Bangalore. He did a collaborative and community art project “Kere Halli Nagara- Home coming”, based on the lakes of Bangalore. He participated in Alliance Francoise, as a part of the film festival ‘Voices from Waters’ organized by Bangalore Film Society in Bangalore- September, 2011.
His group shows are “Tamed by Culture”, Resisted by Images”, Cochin, “Median”, curated by T. K. Harindran, Gallery Epiqes, New Delhi , Invasions, Organised by ASK in collaboration with India Habitat Center
His Publications include Article 01: Reflections of Feminist art, 2008 and Article 02: ‘Take Your Time’ Art concerns .com.
He was a teacher & head of Art, Vasant Valley School,1999-2004, and at Mallya Aditi International School since 2005. He was a guide and mentor at Trivandrum International School, Center For Learning Bangalore, and Riverside School. He was a facilitator for drawing & painting studio course (Module based) in Srishti School of Art, Design andTechnology, Bangalore and for Drawing (Module based) in NIFT, New Delhi, 1997.
