SushmaYadev received her BFA from the College of Art, New Delhi, an MFA in Graphics from The Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda and is presently working towards her PhD in printmaking from the College of Art, New Delhi. In 2006 she received a Fulbright Fellowship and was teaching printmaking at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. She has been in numerous group exhibitons including at the Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, Nagpur, Amritsar, Bharat Bhavan, in Bhopal, at Dhoominal Gallery, and abroad in London and at the Art and Cultural Center, Kalamazoo Michigan, at a Future Hope Charity exhibition in London. She presently teaches in a government school in New Delhi.
