Savitri Dubey, a senior artist, has been working for 50-60 years, born in Harpurjan, Chapra in 1930. She is belonged from the family of national freedom fighter. She graduated from Patna University with Psychology honours. She got inspiration in the field of painting from her grandmother. Her famous madhubani paintings are Ardhnariswer, Kali Devi, Shiv Parvati, Durga Mata etc. She is a regular columnist of quarterly newspaper called ‘Azad Hind’. Recently, she has written an autobiography, named ‘Kahe ka Tana, Kahe ki Bharni’.
