Born in 1958, Sanjeev Khandekar it was only in 1996 that this novelist and author turned artist. He has participated in various group shows, including the annual shows of the Mumbai Art Society at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai in 1999, 2000 and 2001; the Bombay Art Society’s special show at the Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi in 1996; and shows at Sans Tache Gallery in 1999 and the Guild Art Gallery in 2001, Mumbai.

Khandekar lives and works in Mumbai.
