Rahul has been working in clay for 22 years. He completed his masters in the USA on a Fulbright Scholarship in 2008, and received the Charles Wallace (British Council) award for research in the UK in 2013. He has had several group and solo shows. His miniatures in red-glaze have been auctioned at Sotheby’s London in 2012 and he is a three-time recipient of AIFACS National Award. In 2014 he received the Junior Fellowship for excellence in the field of Visual Arts by the Government of India. His works are part of private and public collections including India Habitat Centre Art Collection, Jatin Das Centre of Art, KiranNadar Museum of Art – KNMA, and University of Dallas, Texas-USA. A large-scale ceramic installation was showcased at the India Art Fair (2015) as a special curated project, which was funded by India Foundation for the Arts (IFA).
