Rachna Shalini is a Mithila artist, born in 1979 at Madhubani, Bihar. She has completed M.Sc in Botany from L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga. From the childhood she had interest in Madhubani painting. She had taken training of Madhubani painting from Mithila Art Institute. In this field of painting, the eminent artist, Santosh Das is her great inspiration. Rachna exhibited her paintings in Indian Habitat Centre and also in foreign countries like France, USA.
