Born in 1969, Pooja obtained her degrees in BFA and MFA in Painting from the College of Art, New Delhi. Her works show the beauty of structure through realism, illusion and distortion at the same time. Fragility can be seen together with stability. Her most recent solo show was at Guild Art Gallery, Bombay in 2009. She has participated in many exhibitions, including The Kala Ghoda Art Fest – 2000, and the 41st National Exhibition at the Lalit Kala Academy. Pooja has shown her works in group shows in the major cities. Most recently she was recognized as a prominent woman artist by an ancillary of FICCI. She is married to an artist and they in New Delhi.
