Pisadu Ram Mandavi (b. 1956) is an artist from the Muria tribe of Chhattisgarh, a community known for its profound cultural connection to nature. He began his artistic journey through traditional Muria wood carving and later expanded his practice to painting.
Mandavi was associated with the Bharat Bhavan group mentored by J. Swaminathan, an experience that played a pivotal role in shaping his artistic language. In recognition of his significant contribution to contemporary tribal art, he received the Ojas Art Award in 2026.
