Mugdha Joshi graduated from L.S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai in 2009.
She was a part of the “Sandarbh Nature Art Workshop and Residency” in 2010, wherein she did the photo documentation of the workshop. She also worked at “Sakshi Gallery”, Mumbai from 2011-12, as an archivist and coordinator.
Academically trained in painting, she works with different mediums like photography, digital art and print-making other than painting. She likes to explore new mediums and has recently started working with metal enamelling. Being interested in exploration, she tries to bring the essence of her experiences in her art.
Her participations include 12thAll India Exhibition of Art (of U.P state) Lalit Kala Akademi, Lucknow (2009-10); 119thAll India Annual Art Exhibition of Bombay Art Society (2010-11).
She was a participant at the “1st Edition of United Art Fair”, New Delhi (2012) and also a participating artist in a painting residency by “Arts for All, (Jan-Feb 2013).”
Mugdha lives and works in Mumbai.
