Hindol Brahmabhatt received his BFA and MFA in painting from M.S.University, Vadodara. In 1999 Brahmabhatt was the recipient of an Inlaks Foundation Scholarship and in 2004 he received a Lalit Kala Academi National Scholarship. Hindol’s work often conveys a complex drama of the reality of urban life. Through soothing colors and restrained visuals the outward simplicity of the work subtly amplifies the complexity of this drama.
