Adira Thekkuveettil was born in Calcutta, India (in 1990). Through her personal work, she explores issues of identity and personal histories, visual culture and politics. Currently, she is working on a project exploring the complex urban landscape of city of Kolkata. In her professional practice, she works as an exhibition designer and researcher, collaborating with museums, institutions, archives and artists. She is a graduate of the National Institute of Design and is presently based out of Kolkata and Trivandrum, India.
