For the last few years, Ojas Art has been instrumental in incorporating visual arts into the programming of the Zee JLF with large scale installations and initiating the Ojas Art Award.

Starting in 2015, Ojas Art Award, an annual fixture of the festival celebrates and encourages excellence in Contemporary Indian Indigenous Arts by providing a platform for the artists to showcase their work at Zee JLF. Also, master and protégé artists are recognized and receive a cash award. Art forms pertaining to Gond (Madhya Pradesh) Mithila-Madhubani (Bihar), Bheel (Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh) Patachitra (Bengal) and Warli (Maharashtra) have been explored in the last five editions.
