Neeta Omprakash an independent art curator based in Goa. She has done her master’s in Art Criticism from M. S. University, Baroda. She has done Post-graduate Diploma in comparative Mythology from Mumbai University. She has curated art projects of interdisciplinary nature and the touring exhibitions.
In 201 she was visiting faculty at the University of Connecticut, USA. In 2012-13 she was the recipient of Nehru-Fulbright Senior Research Fellowship at Eastern Connecticut State University. As part of her Fulbright fellowship she curated an art exhibition and a symposium at AKUS art gallery at ECSU and an art exhibition at Provenance Center, New London, Connecticut.
In January 2015 she curated a visual art project sponsored by Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi comprising of an art exhibition, a symposium, a printmaking camp followed by the exhibition of the prints produced during a camp in Goa.
