Ramchander Nath Foundation has been running art therapy and art training classes at Jail No. 5 for 18-21 years old, male inmates since 2007. Seeing the talent and positive response they decided to run an all jail competition for the inmates, to recognize and honor the in-house art talent at Tihar.

Twenty inmates will be recognized and the selected art works will be displayed at the Expressions at Tihar exhibition, giving the inmates a unique platform for exhibiting their works alongside works of India’s top contemporary artists.

The works will be judged by BM Kamath, Jagannath Panda, Josh PS and Ram Rahman.

100% of the sale proceeds will go to the individual artistinmate to aid them in their vocational training and rehabilitation.
